About Erika

Vocational Specialist | Master’s-Level Counseling Candidate | Career Reinvention Strategist

I help women stop making career decisions from fear.

If you have spent years being the dependable one, the yes woman, the one who stays late, the one who holds everything together while slowly losing your confidence, your evenings, and your sense of self, I want to be direct with you: that is not burnout. That is job harm. And recovering from it requires a specific kind of support.

I combine clinical mental health training, vocational science, and 14 years of hands-on experience in healthcare and crisis work to help women identify exactly what they are capable of and build a documented career direction they can actually execute.

My background spans medical crisis response, women’s health, mobile crisis, rape crisis advocacy, case management, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and career counseling. I am finishing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and will be applying for my LMHCA license upon graduation. I hold an ICF coaching certification through Insight Coaching and completed ACER training in meaningful employment. I am also a vocational specialist with formal training in Holland Codes, Life-Span Theory, Career Decision Self-Efficacy, O*NET analysis, and JAN workplace accommodations.

This is not a strategy built on passion alone. It is built on clinical training, vocational expertise, and real-world experience with women in crisis, career and otherwise.

Most women who come to me are not burned out. They are frozen. They are looping. They are running the same stress response they learned in a job that trained them to shrink, comply, and survive. They know they need to leave. They feel like they can’t. They can.

The work we do together is not about processing how bad it was. It is about mapping who you are, what you are capable of, and exactly where you go next.

Psychology-Informed

Clarity-Focused

Grounded: No toxic positivity. No vague inspiration. Real strategy built on real clinical and vocational frameworks.

Strategic: You leave with a documented plan, transferable skills profile, career direction map, and a 90-day roadmap you can execute.

Psychology-Informed: Job harm affects your nervous system, your identity, and your decision-making. We address all three not as therapy, but as the foundation for clear, grounded career choices.

Clarity-Focused: Every session moves you closer to a specific, realistic next step. This work ends with direction, not more questions.

You'll Get:

You Won't Get:

  • A specialist who has done this work clinically, not just conceptually
  • Honest, direct guidance, even when it is not what you expected
  • A process that accounts for your nervous system and your ambition
  • Tools grounded in vocational science, not intuition
  • A documented plan you own and can execute on your own
  • Someone who lets you stay comfortable in the wrong direction
  • Generic advice you could find on LinkedIn
  • Therapy disguised as coaching
  • A coach who needs you to stay frozen to keep you as a client

some fun facts

Get To Know Me A Little Better

When I'm Not Working

You’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee, reading psychology or fantasy, painting, or indulging in a quiet creative moment. I recharge through self-development, slow mornings, and anything that brings me back to myself after a long day of supporting others.

I'm Always Up For...

New experiences, deep conversations, fresh perspectives, and anything that challenges me to think differently. Whether it’s exploring a new place or engaging in a thoughtful debate, I’m energized by learning and expanding how I see the world.

I Can't Live Without...

My family, my dogs, crystals, good books, the thrill of negotiating (yes, really), and conversations that go beneath the surface. I’m happiest when I’m learning, imagining, or connecting with something meaningful.
